Once pets arrive at CAPQ during the operational hours, they are taken out of their crates, dogs are walked, and all are given food and water before the AVS officers inspect them. Once done they are allocated air conditioned kennels or catteries until the clearance is completed and they can go home. It usually takes 2-3 hours for the clearances including the time taken to transfer pets from the aircraft to CAPQ.
