Offer direct flights from London to Singapore and also have good options for destinations via SIN such as Brunei. They can also be used for Australia & New Zealand, and whilst they may be expensive compared to other routes for larger shipments and have an extensive list of breeds they will not carry, the comfort stop in Singapore gives pets time out of their travel kennels, and is long enough for a full recovery from the first flight.
We have excellent agents in Singapore who can go to the animal station and assist with feeding and watering pets, walking dogs, cleaning the crate if soiled and pets if dirty, updating owners with pictures, dressing the crate for the next sector and transferring pets in their crates to get ready for the next leg.
Imports to Singapore With Singapore Airlines
Pets upon landing in Singapore are transferred to the Changi Animal & Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) by the ground handling agents located within the cargo terminal.
Once pets arrive at CAPQ during the operational hours, they are taken out of their crates, dogs are walked, and all are given food and water before the AVS officers inspect them. Once done they are allocated air conditioned kennels or catteries until the clearance is completed and they can go home. It usually takes 2-3 hours for the clearances including the time taken to transfer pets from the aircraft to CAPQ.
Trans shipments to Aus/NZ with SQ
Pets upon landing in Singapore are transferred to the Changi Animal & Plant Quarantine (CAPQ) by the ground handling agents located within the Changi Airfreight Centre. Pets are taken out of their crates, brought for a walk (dogs only) and given food (if transit time is over 4 hours) and fresh water before the AVS officers inspect them. Once done they are allocated air-conditioned kennels/catteries until the ground handling agent collects them for their connecting flight.
