What Andorra Requires For Your Pet

Your pet must be microchipped with an ISO compliant microchip (ISO 11784/11785) before any vaccinations.
Rabies vaccination is required when your pet is at least 12 weeks old. The vaccination must be valid and given at least 21 days before you travel.
You need an Animal Health Certificate (AHC) issued by a UK vet. This certificate is valid for 10 days from issue, so timing matters. UK Pet Passports are not accepted for Andorra.
Your pet must be at least 15 weeks old to travel (12 weeks for rabies vaccination plus 21 day wait).
Maximum of 5 pets allowed per person.
No quarantine in Andorra when you arrive.

Transit Through France Or Spain

Andorra has no airport so your pet must transit through either France or Spain to reach Andorra.

This means your pet must meet EU transit requirements as well as Andorra’s import rules. Your pet needs to comply with French or Spanish regulations during the journey through their territory.

Spain has breed restrictions requiring muzzles for certain breeds including Rottweilers and Pit Bull Terriers during transit.

Getting Your Pet To Andorra

The closest airports to Andorra are Toulouse in France and Barcelona in Spain. We can arrange for your pet to fly to either airport.
