What You Need To Know

The pet must have been resident in the United Kingdom or Hong Kong for the previous 6 months or since birth, must be over 60 days of age and not under any quarantine restrictions at the time of export. The owner of the pet must sign a declaration to this effect.
The dog or cat must be microchipped and vaccinated against rabies (only required for pets over 3 months of age) at least 30 days prior to shipment.
The dogs must be vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus (DHP) and cats for Feline Rhinotracheitis Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus (Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis) and Feline Panleucopenia virus (RCP) not less than 14 days and not more than 1 year prior to shipment.
An import permit is required for pets entering Hong Kong.
