Collection of your pet is available from your home or breeders address anywhere in England, Scotland or Wales, or you may deliver to our premises, or be met at Heathrow airport by one of our representatives.

Pet dogs and cats must be microchipped and have the microchip number recorded on all veterinary certificates. Microchipping must be undertaken before the required vaccinations are given to enable the Official Veterinarian (OV) or Local Veterinary Inspector (LVI) of DEFRA to identify the animal when completing any paperwork.

An Import Permit is required from the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries in Muscat prior to shipment, and if you are shipping your pet through Fetchapet then we can assist you with obtaining the Import Permit through our agents in Oman.

Dogs and cats must be over 4 months of age at the time of travel and must be vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days and not more than 11 months prior to the date of export. Pets must also have a titre test undertaken approximately 30 days after the rabies vaccination. This must have positive results and be undertaken at least 3 months but less than 12 months prior to the date of travel.

Dogs must be vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis and parvovirus (DHLP) and it is strongly recommended that cats are vaccinated against cat flu and feline enteritis (RCP) at least 30 days and not more than 11 months prior to the date of shipment.

Dogs and cats must have a DEFRA Export Health Certificate issued by an Official Veterinarian (OV) or Local Veterinary Inspector (LVI) of DEFRA not more than 48 hours prior to shipment. Most practices have at least one OV (LVI) working in the practice.
